“Hi my name is Krysal Mathias. I graduated from Civil Engineering and am a young professional in the construction industry. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. Being a Polaris mentor is important to me. I want to share my experiences with the younger generation and help them through their journey in maneuvering life to become strong willed women who contribute to society in a positive way.”

“Hello Everyone! My name is Maria and I am very happy to have the opportunity to be a mentor for Polaris. I love working with youth and helping them strive to become the best versions of themselves. I love fashion, chemistry, biking, the hospitality industry, doing my nails, and making people smile.”

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah and I'm a fourth year undergraduate in the Piano Performance program at the University of Toronto. I also teach music and enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and cycling. I'm indebted to the wonderful mentors in my life and I'm excited and honoured to have the opportunity to give back to you.

Doanna is a Hospitality & Tourism Management graduate from Ryerson University. She likes providing service and giving herself to others which motivated her to take Hospitality as a major. She is currently pursuing a career in the events industry- to make extraordinary events and bring people together. But more importantly, her goal is to become a better leader for others; to be a good role model and be someone that can rely on.

Gina is a recent graduate from York University. She is now pursuing her masters in mathematics at the University of Toronto. She loves math, baking, and painting. Her dream job is to be a math teacher.

Hi I’m Songsha and I go by Lisa:) Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Education degree in Adult Education and Community Development at the University of Toronto. In my free time, I love singing and attending jazz concerts. I also enjoy acting and taking walks!

Alisa is a leadership loving Computer Scientist who graduated from Carleton University in 2017. Outside of her career work as a Software Engineer, Alisa has experience teaching real programming to kids and coaching youth basketball. She's passionate about supporting character growth, building confidence for others and helping the youth create and meet personal development goals.

"Hi, my name is Sophie. I'm finishing the last year of my undergraduate degree in French, Spanish and English at the University of Toronto. I've been both a camper and staff member at Chilawee, Chipnee and Anchor camps, where I've learned the value of mentorships. I am actually currently working part time for a mentorship program that matches medical students with doctors. You could say I love mentorships! I like to play hockey, eat sushi and hangout with friends. Merci et hasta luego!"
